The VSO (Virtual Sound Odyssey) is a state of the art one-man band apparatus. Through the use of various MIDI controllers, the ability exists to perform multi-part arrangements in real time (not pre-recorded or sequenced) using all available appendages. The main instrument is a six-string guitar, and MIDI footpedals to incorporate the lower extremities. These MIDI controllers are linked to Roland Synthesizers which are able to simulate an almost unlimited array of both acoustic and electronic instruments. The styles of music playable in real time are limitless, including most ethnic music, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country, Contemporary to the Classics, and synthesized futuristic styles. Just about anything imaginable…
